These acquisitions have significantly extended °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û's technical capability, operational capacity and geographic footprint as part of our on-going strategy to satisfy our clients' future testing requirements and also in support of our mission to become the world's most trusted testing partner.
The acquisitions we have made to date are:
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired ISS Inspection Services, comprising four customer-facing brands: NIC Inspection Services, PTI Industries (both accredited by the Federal Aviation Administration), PRO Inspection Services, and CTS Inspection Services. This acquisition offers °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û customers more touch points in the fast-growing NDT ecosystem, particularly in the after-market (AM) and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) subsectors, and a new special process services offering.   
The acquisition of Filton Systems Engineering marked a significant step for °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û in advancing its capabilities in the digital engineering and aerospace sectors. The acquisition marks °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s 50th acquisition in its short history since 2011.
The acquisition of NTS has further enhanced °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s capability to be a partner throughout the product lifecycle for its customers. It strengthened °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s growing platform in North America and enhances capabilities in telecoms, connected automotive, medical device and battery testing.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired leading testing, inspection, calibration and certification provider, Singapore Test Services (STS). This acquisition strengthened °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s position and growth plans in Southeast Asia.

°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired Kalibrierdienst Kopp GmbH (KDK), a market-leading calibration and measurement services provider, significantly strengthening the Group’s calibration business in Germany.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired industry leading pharmaceutical testing business, Analytical Lab Group (ALG), significantly strengthening °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s market position in pharmaceutical testing in North America and another important step in growing its Life & Health Sciences segment.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired industry leading connected technologies business, PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, significantly strengthening °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s position in testing and certification services within the connected technologies market.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired Aerotech Inspection and NDT Ltd, a non-destructive testing (NDT) business providing radiography services to the aerospace industry.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired the product testing company EMV Testhaus GmbH to strengthen its position in the German automotive and medical markets.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û announced the acquisition of Cobham Technical Services Lightning Testing & Consultancy, a recognized leader in the lightning test and consultancy business.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û announced the acquisition of Orbit Industries, Inc. in the United States, further strengthening the Group’s leadership position in non-destructive testing (NDT) for the aerospace industry.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired vohtec Qualitätssicherung GmbH (vohtec) on the 2nd July 2018, significantly strengthening its testing footprint for the European transportation sector
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û announced the acquisition of NDT Limited, one of the UK’s leading materials testing companies, significantly strengthening its non-destructive testing (NDT) services in Europe.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired MetalsTesting Company (MTC), a non-destructive testing (NDT) service provider located in Connecticut, United States, on 19th December 2017
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired Exova Group plc, one of the world’s leading laboratory-based testing groups, on the 29th June 2017.
Exova Group plc (now owned by °Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û) acquired Defire Holdings Pty Ltd (Defire), a Sydney–based fire safety engineering consultancy business.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û entered into an asset purchase agreement with Medical Device Testing Services (MDT), of Minnetonka, MN, USA, a specialist provider in Mechanical Testing and Materials Characterization for the medical device sector, on April 4th 2017.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of TÜV SÜD Melbourne, FL, USA, a laboratory that specializes in EMI testing for Commercial, Aerospace and Defense applications, on April 3rd 2017.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired the assets of Durkee Testing Laboratories of Paramount, California, USA, a long-established provider of metallurgical investigation, mechanical testing and chemical analysis services.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired the assets of MTEC Mechanical Testing Services, an independent metallurgical testing laboratory in Houston, Texas, USA.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired TEAMS (Testing and Engineering of Aeronautical Materials and Structures ) S.L. in Seville, Spain, a Nadcap accredited, specialist provider of destructive and nondestructive materials and component testing services and Tier 1 supplier to Airbus.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired DNV GL's German materials testing laboratories in Hamburg, Muelheim a.d.R., Herne and Stuffgart/Esslingen, employing over seventy engineers specialized in materials testing, metallurgy and failure analysis.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquired Northwest EMC, a US Product Qualification Testing company with EMC laboratories in Oregon, California, Washington, Minnesota and Texas, providing testing services including EMC/EMI, radio devices (wireless), medical device, DO-160, MIL-STD and automotive electronics.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û acquires Cascade TEK, a Product Qualification Testing business with laboratories in Colorado, USA and Oregon, USA, providing service to the Global Aerospace sector.
°Ä²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û completes the acquisition of Product Qualification Testing company TRaC Global Ltd, UK a leading provider of testing services to the Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device and Telecommunications sectors.
